The Southern District of ITE embarked on an ambitious effort to develop and implement a strategic plan for the District at the 2003 SDITE Annual Meeting in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A year later at the SDITE Annual Meeting in Covington, Kentucky, a vision and mission statement for the District were created that year and served as the focal point in developing the strategic plan.
The strategic plan, called SDITE 2010, contains four major goal areas. Leaders, or “Champions”, are responsible for taking the leadership role in developing an Annual Work Plans and managing the implementation of action items. The Major Goal areas and their champions are: |
