Lindsay Walker

Lindsay Walker, PE, PTOE, AICP is a graduate from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) with her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering. She has spent the entirety of her career in the private sector and currently works with HMB Professional Engineers, Inc. Lindsay’s emphasis areas have been in planning and safety with specific skills of corridor planning, traffic operations analysis, safety analysis, alternatives development and evaluation, public involvement, and traffic forecasting.

Lindsay became a member of ITE following graduation. She is a Past President of the Kentucky Section and currently sits on the KYSITE Board as a Director. She has also been involved at the District level as the Strategic Planning Annual Meeting Chair and Co-Chair of the Member Services Committee. She served as the hotel liaison for the 2012 Joint SDITE / GLITE Annual Meeting in Lexington and as co-chair for the 2022 SDITE Annual Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. At the international level, she has had the honor of participating in the LeadershipITE program and graduated as the third class. She is also active in the Kentucky Chapter of APA.

Fun Facts: Lindsay is the mother of three boys and married to past SDITE President and recent International Director, Scott Walker. Together they have enjoyed travelling to many SDITE meetings and have managed to attend home games for all major league baseball teams!
