Scott Walker, P.E., PTOE
Scott Walker is currently a Facility Engineer with Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. in Erlanger, Kentucky. Prior to that, he was a Senior Traffic Engineer at WSP / Parsons Brinckerhoff for nearly 10 years. He worked in the transportation engineering market for over 15 years and maintains his passion for serving the profession. Scott received his B.S.C.E. from the University of Kentucky. He is a registered professional engineer in Kentucky as well as a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.
Scott is a Past President of the Kentucky Section of ITE having served in all officer positions with the Kentucky Section. He also served as the Kentucky Section Representative for two terms. He served as Local Arrangement Committee Chair for the 2012 Great Lakes ITE / Southern District ITE Joint Annual Meeting in Lexington. He was Team Leader of the Information, Communication & Outreach Team of the Strategic Planning Committee (now Member Services). He is a graduate of ITE’s first ever LeadershipITE class in 2014. In 2015, SDITE nominated Scott as their first ever “Rising Star”. Scott was subsequently named the first ever Young Member of the Year for International ITE. Scott is also a proud past recipient of the SDITE Joseph M. Thomas Young Member award.
